insight design is largely the work of one very dedicated Elizabeth Bashur.

She's an optimist, a heavy tipper, a do-it-yourselfer. A bad speller. (That's why Kathie's on board.) A transplant from the motor city to the steel city, she has a style that runs the streets (Sesame to Wall).

She's a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, a friend of non-profits, artists, and small businesses. She's from a family of heroes and rock stars. She's a big sister, a home remodeler and has been designing since the time she started eating solid foods. She loves what she does.

If you want to chat about design, a project, how wonderful the city of Pittsburgh is, VW's, or houses, e-mail her.

Our resident wordsmith is Kathie Fitzgerald. A long-time editor and writer, she was the webmaster for ioma, a New York-based business information company. She was also editor of Web Management Strategies , a pioneering web marketing publication in 1996, and has been creating web content ever since. She's a collage maker and essayist. She tries to maintain the appearance of decorum around here, usually unsuccessfully.

If you need a content creator, copyeditor, or proofreader—or just want to kibitz about handmade lampshades or the Catskills, e-mail her.
